We're Building No filters

Grown-up build

Ages 12+ for safety reasons

Distributed to the rural poor in Rwanda, this filter handles the muddy, disgusting water from the Nyabarongo River. Each filter is supported by a network of village-based volunteers, community health workers and local leaders.

Lasting 10 years or more, these filters change lives. Improving health, education, and income with every glass.

What to expect:

  • You'll receive a quick overview of the global water crisis and what we're doing about it as well as a demonstration of how to build filters.
  • Come late or leave early as you need to
  • Gloves and tools will be provided
  • Childcare is not provided, this event is best for ages 12 and up

What to bring:

  • A water bottle is a good idea
  • Comfortable, close-toed shoes
  • A desire to help the 383 million people without access to clean water

Now that we've built all the household and community filters, it's time to send them to Rwanda. MUST BE ABLE TO CARRY 30-50lbs UP AND DOWN STAIRS REPEATEDLY
